- Lung Cancer Screening as a Bridge to Population Health/ACO
As a participant in the International Early Lung Cancer Action Program (I-ELCAP), WellStar Health System in Georgia saw an opportunity to improve population health with appropriate lung cancer screenings, follow-up and treatment plans. Based on this experience and opportunity, Well Star began a retail lung cancer screening program open to individuals with specific risk factors as identified by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. Successfully marketing this program required a highly targeted approach through a CRM strategy, while complementing the plans with a broader, multi-channel marketing effort. CPM Healthgrades had proven success around a CRM program focusing on retail heart screenings, so this program was adapted to lung cancer screening to meet WellStar’s population health objectives, including community education and encouraging early diagnosis and intervention for potentially life-threatening conditions.Read More
